Jane Austen

Pride and Prejudice--(current read)

Kate Messner

Capture the Flag--This is geared toward a much younger crowd, but it was a fun read.  I enjoyed it.

Orson Scott Card

Ender's Game--I'm not the biggest sci-fi fan in the world, but I really enjoyed this one!  It had suspense, action, and a great twist!

Anita Stansfield

Passage on the Titanic--I love Anita Stansfield.  I love the story of the Titanic.  I love reading different perspectives about the Titanic.  Perfect combination!  It was a good read, and interesting that the events were based off a real person.

Harper Lee

To Kill a Mockingbird--I had to read this book in order to teach it for student teaching.  It was a LOT better than I thought it would be!  I struggled with the trial, but other than that it was fun to watch the characters grow and develop in this book.

Gary D. Schmidt

Okay For Now--AMAZING READ!  I would recommend this book to anyone!  It is fantastic!  It's relatable from teens-adults.

Gerald N. Lund

The Guardian--VERY different Lund book, but I enjoyed it for the most part.  It just wasn't what I was expecting from him and it threw me for a loop for awhile.
The Undaunted--LOVED IT!!!!!!  It was gripping me from the very first page.  I like his style and this genre.  LDS historical fiction meets romance can be so much fun! (especially when I'm in that kind of mood)
